Random Hero(ine)s Template for
The Sailor Moon Role-playing Game

[Image of Sailor Mars on one knee and holding ofuda] Here is a template for creating random senshi and Knights for The Sailor Moon Role-playing Game. Of course, all results can be modified to taste or as needed: While the dice may possibly generate a 5'1" Knight weighing 198 pounds, some may not be comfortable with playing such a character.

Perhaps the best use of this template is for a GM creating senshi and/or Knights which the players may encounter during a campaign. However, note that Character Points and Sub-attribute Points are effectively not used by this template, so take care not to make characters which are too strong or too weak for the campaign in question.


Please note...
  • This template requires the following dice (minimum)
    • 1d4
    • 1d6
    • 1d10
    • 1d12
    • 1d20
    • 1d100 (or 2d10 of different colors, with one color designated as the "tens" die)
    If necessary, roll one die multiple times and add the numbers together. For example, if an item calls for 2d10 but you only have 1d10, roll that die twice and add the numbers together.
  • This template may be downloaded and/or printed for personal use. The browser window may need to be resized for optimal printing.
  • Modifications to this template and subsequent reposting elsewhere are not permitted; however, links to this site (via the FeatherSites front door please) are acceptable. Please inform me at feather7@ix.netcom.com of any desired changes or additions and they will be considered.

  • Why isn't there a Random Yoma Template? First, The Sailor Moon Role-playing Game and Resource Book provides an excellent randomized-yoma system on pages 154-157; this has been reprinted almost verbatim on pages 7-9 of The Complete Book of Yoma, Volume 1. Also, the majority of players will likely have Senshi and Knight characters. However, if others are very interested in a Random Yoma Template, I am willing to create something similar to The Random Hero(ine)s Template.
